BJP MLA Writes To BMC Chief Iqbal Chahal, Reminds Him Of 123 Proposals Pending For The Bid Of BMC

Mumbai: BJP MLA Nitesh Rane writes to BMC Chief Iqbal Singh Chahal and reminded him about 123 proposals which are still pending for the bid of BMC. As earlier Standing committee headed by Yashwant Jadhav had not taken any decision on these 123 proposals and now tenure of all cooperators has been ended hence there is no standing committee which will take any call on these pending proposals. Therefore Rane has requested BMC chief to look into these 123 proposals and take decision.

“So far Chahal was not seen taking any quick decision, when BJP raised its voice, regrets de-silting of nullhas and river in Mumbai, after 25 days he passed the pending proposals related to it, which raises doubt in the mind of common public. On 6th April 2022 Chahal had passed some 8 proposals why you are doing that silently? The doubt which comes in our mind is pending proposals which Last standing committee didn’t pass may be due to their setting with contractors didn’t get work out but now you are BMC commissioner and you are administrator so you should examine all proposals carefully and pass it. It gives sense to us that there is some pressure on you of Shivsena party.” Said Nitesh Rane is his letter

Nitesh further writes to Chahal saying you should not selectively pass the proposals. If proposals are not viable then you should reject it immediately but by passing selective proposals gives sense that being administrator you are supporting Shivsena Party and their corruption.

On 7th of March 2022 tenure of all cooperators was ended. In last February BMC election was supposed to happened but due to Quota row in local body election was postponed hence administrator was appointed on BMC. Now all decisions administrator takes who is IAS officer and BMC commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal.
