Chitra Wagh Slams Shiv Sena Says, “Aggressive Over Marathi Name Board Issue, But Names Penguin Oscar!”

Mumbai: Bhartiya Janta Party leader Chitra Wagh attacks Shiv Sena over the Name Ceremony of the penguin. She said that Shiv Sena was aggressive over the issue of Marathi boards but when it comes to naming a penguin, they named it ‘Oscar.’

She targets the Shiv Sena party over the issue of Marathi name boards on all shops. Recently Maharashtra Govt has amended its earlier decision of having Marathi name boards on shops and made it compulsory for all shops to have Marathi Board in an equal font.

The Bhartiya Janta Party Leader took to Twitter and tweeted one cartoon that talks about the Marathi board issue and the other part of this cartoon are talking about a new baby penguin who was named ‘Oscar’. Chitra Wagh slammed Shiv Sena leader and said that Shiv Sena was aggressive over the issue of Marathi boards but when it comes to the name baby penguin they have selected a name only which is ‘Oscar’. She tweeted, “Marathi being valued only for boards on shops, but not to name Yuvraj’s penguin.”

Shiv Sena during the last government had insisted a lot on the implementation of this rule but its effective implementation was not happening and according to earlier rule, small shops were not covered under this rule. Hence this time state Govt has covered them all. Retail Traders association has shown their reservation against this rule and once it becomes act they are planning to move to court against this.

It was a dream project of Sena leader Aditya Thackeray to get penguins in the Mumbai zoo. When they were brought to Mumbai Sena received a lot of flake from the opposition over the cost of this project.
