Unemployment Grew In All Poll Bound States: Varun Gandhi

New Delhi: BJP Leader, Varun Gandhi in a tweet draws focus on the increasing level of unemployment in the poll-bound states – Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur, Punjab and Uttarakhand.

Sharing his opinion he wrote for a national daily, Varun Gandhi said, “Despite all the talk of development, statistics show that unemployment has grown in all poll-bound states.”

Varun Gandhi said the need of the hour is to focus on “incentivising job creation”.

“Instead of political populism, we need to urgently focus on incentivising job creation,” Varun Gandhi said.

Earlier, during his two-day visit to his constituency Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh, Varun Gandhi had said that inflation is touching the sky and unemployment is increasing rapidly.

He said that in the name of privatization, important resources of the country were being sold.

“To add to the woes, vital resources of the country are being sold in the name of privatisation…Think what will happen to the country when everything is sold,” Varun Gandhi said in Pilbhit.

Elections to five states will take place between February 10 and March 10 this year.
