32-year-old Man Arrested In Baba Siddique Murder case

On Friday, Mumbai police arrested one more accused in the Baba Siddique murder case. Till date, a total of 15 people has been arrested. According to officials, 32-year-old Sujit Sushil Singh was apprehended from Ludhiana,

Punjab, after reportedly introducing the wanted suspect Zeeshan Akhtar with two other arrested suspects in the case.

Police officials claimed that he was a member of the group that planned the murder conspiracy and had communication with Zeeshan Akhtar. He escaped to Jalandhar, the home of his in-laws, shortly after the murder and started living with a relative.

A police officer stated, โ€œWe are questioning him to determine the motive for the murder.โ€ According to the officer, the police also found another domestically made handgun in the Panvel house of Ram Kanaujia, the arrested suspect.

Days after the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced a bounty of โ‚น10 lakh for Lawrence Bishnoiโ€™s brother, Anmol Bishnoi.

Anmol Bishnoi, is currently believed to be living in Canada. Last year, the gangster fled India using a forged passport, and this year, he was seen in Kenya and Canada.

NIA has mentioned Anmol Bishnoi in two chargesheets of cases that were registered in 2022. He is also wanted in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in May 2022.

Mumbai police had already issued a lookout notice against him after gunshots were heard outside Salman Khanโ€™s residence. Anmol Bishnoi took credit for this incident on social media.
