Bihar Passes Anti-Paper Leak Bill; Prison Term, Fine Included

The Bihar government led by Nitish Kumar passed an anti-paper leak bill on Wednesday.  The Bihar Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill 2024 aims to prevent malpractices and paper leaks. Some of the key provisions include three to 10 years of jail with a fine that can go up to Rs 1 crore. This comes amidst numerous instances of paper leaks in Bihar, including the recent NEET-UG exams.
