Reports from local media disclosed that heavy rainfall in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resulted in 63 fatalities and 78 injuries. Social media footage depicted flooded roads resembling rivers, with people navigating through waist-high water. Slow-moving vehicles added to the chaos. Since April 12, continuous rainfall has led to flash floods, claiming 33 children, 15 men and 15 women, as per the Provincial Disaster Management Authority.
