Death Toll Rises To 48 In China Highway Collapse

On Thursday, the death toll rose to 48 in southeastern China, where a highway segment collapse led over 20 cars tumbling down a steep slope. Meizhou city officials reported three unidentified individuals awaiting DNA confirmation. Itโ€™s uncertain if they perished, potentially raising the toll to 51. Around 30 others sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
