Danish media reported on Monday that a collective of Indigenous women from Greenland is suing Denmark for approximately 43 million kroner ($6.3 million). They allege that Danish health authorities violated their human rights by coercively implanting intrauterine contraceptive devices, known as coils, during the 1960s and 70s.
