Hong Kong Follows Singapore In Banning Everest, MDH Spices

Hong Kong’s food safety authority has prohibited four spice products from popular Indian brands, Everest and MDH, due to the discovery of a cancer-causing chemical. The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) detected ethylene oxide, classified as a carcinogen, in three MDH products and Everest’s Fish Curry Masala.
