India on Thursday termed a U.S. report alleging human rights abuses as “deeply biased”. Ministry Of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said New Delhi doesn’t attach “any value to the report”. This comes days after Washington’s annual human rights assessment alleged “numerous instances” in which the government and its allies “allegedly pressured or harassed media outlets critical of the government.”
