Britain’s King Charles III officially appointed Labour leader Keir Starmer as prime minister on Friday at Buckingham Palace. A palace photograph showed the king shaking hands with Starmer, following Labour’s landslide election victory. King Charles accepted Conservative leader Rishi Sunak’s resignation earlier.
