Nepal Bans Sale Of Everest, MDH Spices Over Safety Concerns

Nepal joins Singapore and Hong Kong in banning Everest and MDH spices over fears of harmful chemical residues. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control is conducting tests for ethylene oxide, a cancer-causing pesticide, on the products. Nepal’s food technology department spokesperson, Mohan Krishna Maharjan, confirmed the import and sale prohibition.
