North Korea Constructing Roads, Walls Near South Korea: Report

According to Yonhap news agency, North Koreaโ€™s military is constructing roads and walls within the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) separating it from South Korea. The activities are occurring north of the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) that traverses the DMZ, as per an unnamed military source cited by the South Korean agency. This development comes after a recent incident where South Korean forces fired warning shots following a brief incursion by North Korean soldiers across the MDL.
