The UK has raised the minimum income requirement for family visa sponsorship by 55%, setting the new threshold at GBP 29,000 annually, up from GBP 18,600. This change, part of the Rishi Sunak government’s plan to align family visa criteria with Skilled Worker visa standards, took effect on April 11.
