69-Year-Old Delhi Woman Becomes Second Coronavirus Casualty In India

The woman who died of Coronavirus infection in Delhi was also a patient of diabetes and high blood pressure. She was admitted to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

 

New Delhi| A second case of coronavirus death occurred on Friday in the country. A 69-year-old woman died of infection in Delhi. Earlier on March 12, a 76-year-old man died in Karnataka due to infection. The Delhi government has declared Corona an epidemic. As Precautionary measures schools and colleges and cinema halls have been closed till 31 March to prevent the spread of infection.

  1. The woman who died of infection in Delhi was also a patient of diabetes and high blood pressure. She was admitted to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The woman’s son was traveling to Italy and Switzerland between 5 and 22 February. He returned to India on 23 February. He also complained of phlegm and cold, the report also found him infected with coronavirus.
    Doctors said that the woman’s son was admitted to the hospital on 7 March. Her entire family was screened due to protocol. After which the woman also showed symptoms of phlegm and fever. After this she was also admitted. On March 8, the woman’s samples were sent for examination. She was admitted to the ICU when the condition worsened. She had trouble breathing after 9 March. On March 13, the woman died due to worsening condition. The hospital administration is awaiting the final report.
