New Delhi| Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Friday slammed the government over Arnab Goswami and Kangana Ranaut while discussing the President’s address to the Rajya Sabha. Raut said both Arnab Goswami, because of whom a innocent person committed suicide in Maharashtra and Kangana Ranaut are considered patriot, but the farmers fighting for their rights are being considered as traitors.

“Arnab is in your shelter”

The Shiv Sena MP further aimed at Modi Govt over the leaked chats of Arnab Goswami. He said that the person who already knew about Balakot Airstrike breaking the official secret code, he is in the shelter of the central government. “He has your protection. It is a matter of national security. But you do not talk about this issue,” said Sanjay Raut.

‘Those who question the government are called traitors’

Raut criticized rhe BJP and said, “The atmosphere in the country today is such that those who speak the truth are called traitors. The one who asks questions to the government is called a traitor.”

‘Government putting sedition charges on journalists and writers’

Raut underlined that journalists and writers who question the government are being charged with sedition. He said that AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Rajdeep Sardesai, etc have been charged under sedition. “Journalists and writers reporting on the Singhu border are being booked under Sedition law,” he said.

‘200 farmers jailed, but Deep Sidhu is yet not held’

Speaking on the violence at the Red Fort on 26 January, Raut said that the government is not telling that Deep Sidhu was involved in the violence. “He has not been caught yet, but more than 200 farmers are lodged in Tihar Jail and are facing trial for treason. Over 100 youth are missing,” Raut said.
