Aryan Khan in NCB’s counselling promised to be a good man: Reports

Mumbai: Famous Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan according to mewdia sources in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) counselling said that he won’t make Sameer Wankhede zonal director of NCB’s Mumbai unit proud someday.

The 23-year-old promised to help people from weaker sections of society. NCB sources said that Aryan Khan promised to be a good man after getting out of jail during the counselling.

Aryan Khan and the others arrested in the case by the NCB were counselled by NGO workers and NCB officials including Sameer Wankhede.

On October 7, Aryan Khan was sent to 14-day judicial custody. The next day, he was shifted from NCB custody to Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai.

Bail order was reserved

Famous actor’s Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan did not get bail and the order was reserved till Wednesday i.e October 20, sending him back to jail.

The decision came after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) told the court that Aryan Khan is a regular consumer of drugs, as the bail hearing of Aryan Khan resumed for the second day.

Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, representing the central agency, referred to on-record statements to claim to the court that “he (Aryan Khan) used to consume it for the last few years”.

Case history

Aryan Khan, 23, was arrested along with his friend Arbaaz Merchant and six others after the ship drugs raid.

His lawyers, while seeking bail, have repeatedly stressed that no drugs were found on him, but the agency says it has evidence that he used to source them.

The NCB says, “Accused no 1 has a role in so far as illicit procurement and distribution of contraband is concerned… It is prima facie revealed that Aryan Khan used to procure contraband from Accused no 2 (Arbaaz). And sourced connected to Accused no 2 from whose conscious possession (shoes) 6 grams of charas was recovered. Aryan and Arbaaz have been associated in close collaboration.”
