Mumbai: Famous actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s judicial custody has been extended till October 30. The accused were not produced in court either physically or through video conference. Aryan Khan was earlier sent to 14-day judicial custody on October 7.
Earlier today Actor Ananya Panday’s house was raided after her name appeared in the WhatsApp chats. He phone, mobile and Laptop was seized.
Right after Aryan Khan’s arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), when media portals had asked the agency if his father Shah Rukh Khan’s house will be raided, they had said a clear no. But after Aryan’s WhatsApp chats with an “upcoming actress” were produced as evidence by NCB yesterday, the sleuths conducted raids at Khan’s house, Mannat, and also Ananya Panday’s residence.
NCB has given a notice to Shah Rukh Khan. NCB has also asked Khans to submit all the electronic devices of Aryan Khan.
On Thursday morning Shah Rukh Khan left to meet his son Aryan Khan who is in jail for drugs case. The 23 year old was detained during Narcotics Control Bureau raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.
This was the first time the superstar and his 23-year-old son, who was arrested after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a rave party on a cruise ship off Mumbai have met. Since Aryan was in jail, he haven’t met his family members.
Aryan Khan along with 8 others were detained. After weeks of interrogation, Aryan was sent to judicial custody.
Aryan Khan has been denied bail twice and has now approached the Bombay High Court. His judicial custody ends today.
On Wednesday, his bail plea was rejected again by a sessions court. Earlier, family members and relatives weren’t allowed to meet the inmates due to Covid protocol. However, according to the latest notice by the jail authorities, two relatives can meet an inmate.
According to the jail authorities, today is visitor’s day. Shah Rukh was asked to show his identity card at the entry gate. He went inside and met his son as per the prison manual for 15-20 minutes. They spoke to each other via intercom due to the glass fencing inside the prison. During the meet, four guards were present.
