Ayodhya Guest List: Here’s Who All Will Be Present For Ram Temple Bhoomi Pujan Today

According to Champat Rai, secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, the entire list of invitations was made by Advani, Joshi.

 

Ayodhya| The Ram temple Bhoomi Pujan ceremony will begin shortly. The ceremony will be attended by a total 175 people. Out of total invitees, 135 are saints from across India and Nepal of 36 different sects. The saints of Janakpur in Nepal have also been invited. BJP patriarchs LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi will not be able to visit the Ceremony in view of the Coronavirus threat and age-related dangers. However, according to Champat Rai, secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, the entire list of invitations was made by Advani, Joshi and advocate K.K. It has been prepared after consultation with Parasharan.

Only Five People Will Be Present On Dais

A platform has been set up for Bhoomi Pujan in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi trust premises. Only five people will be present on the dais, Prime Minister Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Maharam Nritya Gopal Das, President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust.

Uma Bharati announces her visit at the last minute

Uma Bharti, a key face in Ayodhya movement and considered to be close to LK Advani was invited to attend the ceremony. However, citing health reasons and Coronavirus fears, she had earlier said that she will not attend it. But she changed the plan at the last moment and announced her visit. She has reached Ayodhya and hs said that she will attend the event.

Other BJP Leaders To Attend The Function:

Apart from Uma Bharti, BJP leaders who will go to Janmabhoomi include BJP President JP Nadda, MP Lallu Singh, BJP leader and key faces of Janmabhoomi movement Vinay Katiyar, UP Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, UP Cabinet Ministers Suresh Khanna and Lakshmi Narayan Singh. Former Governors and CM Kalyan Singh and Jaibhan Singh Powaiya are also part of this list.
The first invitation was sent to Iqbal Ansari, the son of Babri Masjid petitioner Hashim Ansari. He said he will attend the event and present Ramcharitmanas to PM Modi. Apart from him, Padmashri Mohammad Sharif, who has cremated more than 25 thousand unclaimed dead bodies so far has been invited too.
