Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan no more

According to close family members, Kader Khan passed away at around 4 a.m. in a Toronto hospital.

 

Toronto| Veteran Bollywood actor-comedian Kader Khan has passed away in a hospital in Canada after a prolonged illness. According to close family members, he died around 4 a.m. in a Toronto hospital.

The 81-year-old actor was one of the industry stalwarts who made a remarkable impact in the spheres of dialogue writing as well as directing. Kader Khan was also a Quran scholar.

A few days ago, the rumours of his death were doing rounds on social media which were dismissed by his son Sarfaraz. According to him, Khan had shifted to Canada post a knee-surgery.

He said the last rites of will be held in a Toronto cemetery later in the day.
