This comes after popular short video app TikTok was banned a few months ago, among other Chinese origin apps, after clashes broke out between Indian and Chinese forces in Galwan valley.
As reported by ANI, the Ministry of Information and Technology has banned 118 applications including the popular gaming app PUBG.

This comes after popular short video app TikTok was banned a few months ago, among other Chinese origin apps, after clashes broke out between Indian and Chinese forces in Galwan valley. India had banned the apps after speculation of the apps’ involvement in stealing user data.
However, the reason over the new ban on 118 apps including PUBG is not yet clear
