Mumbai: In a 200 crore money laundering case, the troubles of Jacqueline Fernandez have doubled. Enforcement Directorate has once again called her for summons on December 8. She was stopped at the airport and was not allowed to leave the country, on Sunday.
After a lookout notice was issued for Jacqueline, and after the instructions of the officers, she returned from there. ED has fully disclosed the contacts between mastermind Sukesh Chandrashekhar and Jacqueline Fernandez in the Rs 200 crore extortion case. The ED has said in its charge sheet that Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given expensive gifts worth more than Rs 10 crore to Jacqueline.
According to ED sources, Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given gifts costing more than 10 crores to the actress. This includes luxury cars, horses, cats, and other expensive accessories. The 36-year-old actress was stopped at the airport by immigration officials based on a lookout circular. ED officials also reached the Mumbai airport and were denied permission to travel. Jacqueline Fernandez was instructed to stay in the country. Jacqueline left the airport around 6 PM.
According to Enforcement Directorate sources, Sukesh and Jacqueline came in contact with each other in January 2021. Sukesh had sent expensive gifts worth crores to Jacqueline Fernandez. The expensive gift includes jewelry, diamond jewelry, 4 cats (approximately Rs 9 lakh for 1 cat), and a horse worth Rs 52 lakh. Sukesh had also sent a hefty amount to Jacqueline’s siblings. The ED had also questioned Jacqueline’s close friends and staff personnel.
Nora Fatehi was given a BMW car and an iPhone by Sukesh Chandrasekhar. In total it was more than one crore rupees. It has been revealed in the ED charge sheet filed under the money laundering case of recovery of 200 crores from Tihar Jail. Sukesh Chandrashekhar used to talk to Bollywood actress Jacqueline on mobile from Tihar Jail.
Sukesh had booked a chartered flight to Chennai after coming out on bail. He had also booked a flight from Mumbai to Delhi for Jacqueline. Sukesh and Jacqueline stayed together in a hotel in Chennai. Sukesh had burnt about 80 million for air travel in a private plane when he was out of jail on bail.
