Coronavirus: Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain To Receive Plasma Therapy, On Oxygen Support

Kejriwal said that the CT scan report of Satyendar Jain shows that there are increased patches of Pneumonia in his lungs.

 

New Delhi| The condition of Corona-infected Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain (55) worsened on Friday. He has been shifted to ICU. Officials said that Jain has been shifted to Max Hospital in Saket. Here he will be given plasma therapy.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reviewed the health conditions of Satyendar Jain. Kejriwal said that the CT scan report of Satyendar Jain shows that there are increased patches of Pneumonia in his lungs. He was feeling more tired today than before. Difficulty in breathing has increased. Doctors’ advice is being followed.

Earlier, Jain was feeling a lack of oxygen. It was then decided to put him on oxygen support. He also had symptoms of pneumonia, soon after which, doctors shifted him to ICU. However, Jain’s condition was seen improving on Thursday. On June 17, Satyendar Jain’s corona test report turned out positive. He was then admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital. He had a high fever and was feeling difficulty in breathing.

Sources in the Delhi government said that those who came in contact with Jain in the last few days have been instructed to be quarantined. On Sunday itself, Satyendar Jain attended a high-level meeting to review the situation in Corona in Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan were also present at the meeting.
