New Delhi| The central government has warned all states about the second wave of Coronavirus. The Centre said on Tuesday that the situation of Coronavirus pandemic in the country is getting worse. Especially for some states, this is a big problem. The government said that the entire country is at risk, so no one should be negligent.
The union government said that 8 out of 10 districts most affected by Coronavirus are from Maharashtra and Delhi is also included in this list. Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that following 10 districts have the highest number of active cases, Pune (59,475), Mumbai (46,248), Nagpur (45,322), Thane (35,264), Nashik (26,553), Aurangabad (21,282), Bengaluru (16,259), Nanded (15,171), Delhi (8,032) and Ahmednagar (7,952). He said that there are technically many districts in Delhi, but it has been taken as one district.
Health system is in danger of collapsing: Paul

What are the reasons for increasing cases?
– Isolation is not being observed properly in most states. People are asked to isolate or quarantine at home, but it is not being monitored properly.
– Tests are not being conducted at the pace in which the cases are increasing in the states.
– Contact tracing is decreased.
– Covid appropriate Behavior is not being followed.
Increase in positivity rate in Maharashtra-Punjab
According to the Health Ministry, new cases have increased in the last few days in Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat and Delhi. During this period, an increase in the average positivity rate has been recorded. Also, in some states, the positivity rate is higher than the India average. India’s average positivity rate is 5.65%, while these states have higher than that. Cases of infection are increasing at a rate of 23.44% in Maharashtra, 8.82% in Punjab, 8.24% in Chhattisgarh and 7.82% in Madhya Pradesh.
Covaxin and Covishield also effective on Brazil and UK variants
The central government stated that covaxine and coviciled vaccines are effective against the dangerous UK and Brazilian variants of corona infection. The government further stated that research is going on regarding the South African variant of the infection. Its results will be revealed soon.
