EC Send Notice To Arvind Kejriwal For Violating MCC A Day Before Delhi Votes

New Delhi| A day before voting for the Delhi assembly elections, uploading a video mentioning “Hindu-Muslim” on Twitter has proved to be costly for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The Election Commission has sent a notice to him regarding this video. The Election Commission said that it was a violation of the Code of Conduct and asked Kejriwal to reply till 5 pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile, CM Arvind Kejriwal prayed at Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place one day after the election campaign was stopped while Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari went to the Kalka Temple and offered prayers.

It is worth mentioning that voting in all 70 seats for the Delhi Assembly elections will take place on Saturday. There is a direct contest between the Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress and the BJP in the Delhi elections.
