Farmers’ Protest: Now UP Farmers Reach Ghazipur, Agitators Warn of Blocking Delhi Entry Points

Security was tightened at the Delhi-Ghaziabad border in view of the farmers’ protest. The Ghazipur border was blocked by the police with big boulders. 

 

New Delhi| The Farmers protesting against new agricultural laws are not ready to back down. From the Haryana border along Delhi to the borders of Uttar Pradesh, the farmers have camped in large numbers. A conflict ensued between the farmers and the police near the Ghaziabad border, where an attempt was made to break the barricades. At the same time, farmers from Punjab and Haryana are firmly camped on the Haryana border.

Security was tightened at the Delhi-Ghaziabad border in view of the farmers’ protest. The Ghazipur border was blocked by the police with big boulders.

Farmers on the Ghazipur border (Delhi-Ghaziabad) broke the barricades. Farmers’ organizations have warned to seal all the five borders of Delhi.

The farmers have clearly stated that they will not accept any conditional negotiations. They also warned that they would close all five entryways to the national capital.

Farmers’ organizations on Sunday rejected the Centre’s proposal to protest at Burari Maidan.
