“Go Back”, “Don’t Fight”: New Video of Clash Between Indian and Chinese Soldiers Emerges

It can be seen that Indian soldiers are continuously asking Chinese soldier to “Go Back” and not to fight, but the Chinese soldiers are adamant.

 

New Delhi| Amidst ongoing military-level talks between India and China, an unconfirmed video has surfaced on social media. The video shows skirmish between the soldiers of the two countries. The 5-minute long video clip shows Indian soldiers trying to push Chinese troops to the other side, during a scuffle.

It can be seen that Indian soldiers are continuously asking Chinese soldier to “Go Back” and not to fight, but the Chinese soldiers are adamant. A Chinese soldier attacks, after which the Indian soldiers surround him and a violent skirmish ensues.

This video has been shared on Instagram by a stuxmalware account. The location and date of the video could not be verified, but soldiers are seen wearing Coronavirus masks. Thus, it can be inferred that the footage is recent. According to media reports, it may be of Sikkim.

On May 9, as many as 150 Indian-Chinese soldiers had come face-to-face in the Naku La sector at an altitude of 16,000 feet in North Sikkim. The date and time of the skirmish were not officially revealed. However, according to The Hindu’s report, the clash took place on 9 May. During the patrol, the soldiers, came face to face and attacked each other with punches. 10 soldiers were injured in this clash. Later, the officers intervened and the clash stopped.
