Heading To Delhi From Maharashtra, Kerala, etc? You Might Need Negative Covid-19 Certificate From Friday

Delhi| The Delhi government is preparing to implement some rules regarding the entry of people coming to the national capital from the 5 states of the country. The Delhi government may make the corona negative report mandatory for people coming to Delhi from states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. Sources say that this rule may come into force from Friday and an official order in this regard can be issued by Wednesday evening. It may be mandatory for people coming from states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Chhattisgarh to show negative RT-PCR report from 26 February to 15 March. In fact, out of the total corona cases reported in the last one week, 86% cases have come from these states.

Not only this, the new strains of Coronavirus in Kerala and Maharashtra are speculated to be behind the rise in infections. Travel bans have already been implemented by neighbouring states like Karnataka and Gujarat. Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly, especially in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. Areas such as Amravati, Nagpur are increasingly reporting high number of cases of coronavirus. There are 11 districts in this area and the administration of other districts in Maharashtra itself has started to tighten the scrutiny of people coming from Vidarbha.

Vidarbha has a total of 11 districts, 5 of which fall under the Amravati division, while the Nagpur division has 6 districts. Apart from this, the Parbhani district administration has banned the movement of people from 11 districts of Vidarbha. Shirdi Sai Baba temple has also been closed as a precaution. The administration across the country is alert as Coronavirus once again raises its head. Meanwhile, the officials and staff posted in Kumbh to be held in Haridwar are also preparing for coronavirus vaccination.
