Mumbai | India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in Mumbai and Thane for the ext two days, some waterlogging expected.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has already issued an ‘Orange alert’ for Mumbai and Thane for today.
IMD has predicted that the two cities will receive heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places today.
Areas like Sion, Parel, Dadar and Byculla received heavy rain in the wee hours today.
Anes agency ANI in areport said hours of incessant rainfall in Mumbai and adjoining districts led to water-logging in several parts of the city on Wednesday morning. Water-logging occurred in the areas near King Circle railway station and Gandhi market, the report said.
Mumbai Police has issued a warning for all the citizens.
