India-China Border Face Off: Firing Reported At LAC, Indian Army Statement Awaited

According to the Chinese Army, the Indian Army crossed the LAC in Shenpao area and when the Chinese Army’s patrolling party proceeded to negotiate with the Indian soldiers, they fired warning shots.

 

Ladakh| There are reports of firing between India and China on the southern shore of Pangong Lake in Ladakh. Indian troops have been accused of attempting to infiltrate the southern side of Pangong Tso on Monday, according to a spokesman for the Chinese Army’s Western Theater Command. China also claims that the Indian Army also opened air fire after crossing the LAC.

According to the statement of the Chinese Army, the Indian Army crossed the LAC in Shenpao area and when the Chinese Army’s patrolling party proceeded to negotiate with the Indian soldiers, they fired warning shots, i.e. in the air. However, the Indian Army has not released any official statement so far. But according to sources, there was a firing on Monday between the two forces.
