Indian Army prepares for a long haul in Ladakh even in winter

The army has made preparations to continue camping in the areas of Ladakh near LAC in the winter, amid constant tension between India and China. India has purchased warfare kits and winter clothes for high altitude areas from the US.

Indian troops occupy 13 important peaks south of Pangong Lake in Ladakh, where the soldiers stand in minus 25 degree Celsius temperatures.
