Interim budget will be farmer friendly like earlier budgets: Agriculture Min Radha Mohan Singh

New Delhi | Before the presentation of Interim Budget in the Lok Sabha, Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has assured that the interim budget of the Modi government will empower the farming community.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Radha Mohan Singh said,” The last five budgets have been dedicated to the farmers, the government’s sixth budget will also be for the farmers, it will empower them.”

Speaking on the representation of the Railways in the interim budget, Manoj Sinha, Mos (Railways) said, “The way the government has increased the investment in railways, from installing CCTV cameras to WiFi, I believe further investment in railways will certainly be increased.”

With Lok Sabha election at the doorstep, acting Finance Minister Piyush Goyal will be presenting the interim budget in the Lok Sabha today at 11 am. The interim budget will be the final budget of the Narendra Modi led NDA government in the present Parliament session. Union Cabinet held a meeting before the presentation of the budget today.
