Karthiyayani Amma became the oldest women to top Kerala’s literacy exam under ‘Aksharalaksham’ scheme creating a history. The state’s education minister C Raveendranath gifted her a laptop on Wednesday. Only last week, she had expressed her wish to learn to operate computers. The Kerala govt fulfilled her wish as Raveendranath visited her home to gift her a laptop.
