The MiG-21 was called the backbone of the Airforce
The MiG-21 was once called the backbone of the Indian Air Force, but now this aircraft is outdated. Despite the upgrade, it is neither fit for war nor fit for flight. In the last 5 years, more than 483 MiG aircraft have suffered an accident. More than 170 pilots have lost their lives in these accidents.
