Mumbai: Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik in another revelation to the Aryan Khan drug-cruise case addressing a press conference said that Aryan Khan case is a “matter of kidnapping and ransom”.
Aryan Khan didn’t purchase the ticket for the cruise party. It was Pratik Gaba and Amir Furniturewala who brought him there. It’s a matter of kidnappings and ransom. Mohit Kamboj is the mastermind and partner of Sameer Wankhede in demanding ransom,” Nawab Malik said.
Nawab Malik further claimed that Mohit Kamboj is close to NCB officer Sameer Wankhede and that he met with the latter at a cemetery on the night of October 7.
Nawab Malik referred to his press conference after the drug bust in October where he had alleged that the NCB had let off three individuals– Rishabh Sachdeva, Pratik Gaba and Amir Furniturewala– after detaining them from the Mumbai cruise party.
The NCP leader said that Rishabh Sachdeva is the brother-in-law of Mohit Kamboj, adding that the âentire (cruise drug bust) story lies in the letting off of these three people, including Rishabh Sachdevaâ.
Telephonic conversation of Sam D’souza
Nawab Malik has shared a telephone conversation that allegedly took between Sanville Adrian D’Souza aka Sam D’Souza and a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) official. Sam DâSouzaâs name has emerged in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case that led to the arrest of Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khanâs son Aryan Khan.
In the audio, Sam DâSouza, who introduced himself as Sanville, called VV Singh, an NCB official. Sanville, who reportedly lived in Bandra, could be heard saying that he was calling in response to a notice served to him by the agency at his house.
When the NCB officer asked him to report immediately, Sam DâSouza asked for more time as he was reportedly out of Mumbai at the time.
The NCB officer then asked Sam to bring his phone for the meeting and warned him against changing phones.
NCP leader Nawab Malik tweeted the audio conversation on Sunday. The Maharashtra minister also posted the notice that was served to Sam DâSouza, saying, âNotice to Sanville Steanley D’souza from NCB bearing his real nameâ.
Who is Sam Dâsouza?
Sam D’Souza’s name had cropped up in the alleged extortion racket case that came up during the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) probe into the drugs-on-cruise case in which Aryan Khan was arrested.
Filing an anticipatory bail petition in Bombay High Court, Sam D’Souza, a business consultant who allegedly ‘brokered a deal’ to help Aryan Khan in the case, alleged that the panch witnesses in the case – Kiran Gosavi and Prabhakar Sail – took money from Shah Rukh Khanâs manager Pooja Dadlani.
In his petition, D’Souza claimed innocence, saying he was tricked by Gosavi to help out Aryan Khan.
He said he arranged the meeting between Pooja Dadlani and Gosavi on October 3, the day after Aryan Khan was taken into custody by the NCB. D’Souza claimed Dadlani and Gosavi spoke in private and Shah Rukh Khan’s manager gave Rs 50 lakh to Gosavi.
