Nawab Malik Shares WhatsApp Chats Between KP Gosavi And ‘Informer’

Mumbai : NCP Spokesperson Nawab Malik on Tuesday, released a screenshot of WhatsApp chats of Witness in Aryan Khan Case, KP Gosavi and an informer named Kashiff Khan. He levelled an allegation on them stating that they were planning to trap people who were going to attend the party on the Cordelia cruise ship.

Malik tweeted: “Here is a whatsapp chat between K P Gosavi and an informer which mentions Kashiff Khan. Why is Kashiff Khan not being questioned ? What is the relationship between Kashiff Khan and Sameer Dawood Wankhede[sic]?”

Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 in drugs on cruise case. A drug raid was conducted by NCB Led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede at the cruise ship. Aryan Khan, along with several others, was arrested and accused of consumption and ‘conspiracy’, among other charges.

Kiran Gosavi, an independent witness in the drugs bust on board the Cordelia cruise, was arrested by the Pune police and is currently lodged in the city’s Yerwada prison.

Gosavi has been embroiled in the entire controversy from the day he was seen holding Aryan Khan’s hand and getting him to the NCB office on October 2. A picture of Gosavi taking a selfie with Aryan Khan prior to his arrest also went viral on social media.

Many questions about him acting as an NCB Official when he was only an independent witness. Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik, who has been steadily targeting NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede, had raised the issue of Gosavi having a cheating case registered against him a few years ago.

Malik on Tuesday tweeted: “This is Sameer Dawood Wankhede’s private army. Therefore, he has a lot to answer.” The chat’s seemed to indicate that a raid team of ‘officers’ was ready to board the ship when maximum number of people would be on board the vessel. The chats also mentioned two persons — Manav Singhal and Bhaskar Arora — identified only as ‘Namscray guys’.

Nawab Malik and Sameer Wankhede have been engaged in a bitter war of words for nearly a month now. The Mumbai cruise drugs bust seems to have spiralled into a political slugfest between the NCP and BJP, with both parties claiming to ‘expose’ underworld links of the other.

Nawab Malik’s son Sameer Khan and Karan Sajnani, a British national, were arrested in the drugs case in January this year. A large amount of CBD-infused Marijuana was seized earlier in the case. The NCB had also filed a chargesheet in the case, but both Karan Sajnani and Sameer Khan were released on bail in September.
