Mumbai: Maharashtra Minister as promised attacked former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and said that under his regime all the extortion and fake currency rackets operated.
He questioned Devendra Fadnavis on why did he make big criminals his party president? He also alleged Devendra of have ties with the underworld. Malik alleged Haider Azam of making criminal settlements in Mumbai under Devendra Fadnavis.
He said that Haider’s wife is from neighbouring country Bangladesh and she had fake documents which were caught by the police. The case was registered in the Malad police station and was soon settled, no investigation took place as Devendra Fadnavis silenced the police.
He further alleged Devendra of harrassing the landlords in Maharashtra and making them name the land after him. He said that after demonetisation till October 8 2017, no case of fake currency was registered in Mumbai, he said this was because Devendra hid them all in dark.
On October 2017, a raid was conducted wherein 14 crore 56 lakh were retained and that case was settled saying that only 8,80,000 were retained from the raid and it wasn’t a big issue. In this case one person was arrested from Mumbai, one from Pune and one from Navi Mumbai, here Malik also brought forward names of Imran Alam Sheikh and Riaz Sheikh who he alleged had ties with underworld don Dawood Ibhrahim.
Even in the cases where fake currency came from Pakistan, a case was registered but wasn’t given to NIA for investigation. he further said a Congress minister was blamed for all this if the matter came out. He further said that Devendra Fadnavis knew Riyaz Sheikh who had ties with Dawood Ibrahim nad he was also caught with fake passport but was given bail in two days, Malik here questioned how?

He also said that Devendra had ties with international mafia and he helped them extort money and silenced all the cases against them.
