New Delhi| Days after the cabinet reshuffle, the Modi govt has also reorganized the Cabinet Committees to include the new faces. These cabinet committees have been reconstituted on Monday, in which Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sarbananda Sonowal and Mansukh Mandaviya have been given chance in important committees. Bhupender Yadav, Sarbananda Sonowal and Mansukh Mandaviya have been given a place in the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs. Apart from this, Giriraj Singh and Smriti Irani are also part of this committee. These leaders have been included in place of leaders like Ram Vilas Paswan, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Harsh Vardhan.
This committee has an important role in matters related to the central and state government. Apart from this, the opinion of this committee is also important in taking decisions on economic and political matters. Apart from this, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Narayan Rane and Ashwini Vaishnav have been included in the committee to monitor investment and growth. This committee oversees the timely completion of important projects and other works. This committee takes decisions on cases of investment of Rs 1,000 crore or more. This committee takes decisions on infrastructure, manufacturing and other matters.

In 2019, two new committees were formed by the Modi government – Investment and Growth and Employment and Skill Development. Ashwini Vaishnav and Bhupender Yadav have been included in the committee on employment and skill development. Newly appointed Law Minister Kiren Rijiju, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, Social Justice Minister Virendra Kumar and Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda have been included in the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs. This committee takes decisions regarding the schedule of Parliament sessions and the bills to be introduced.
