Transmission increased due to people of Tablighi Jamaat – Secretary
Earlier, Health Ministry Secretary Luv Agarwal told in a press conference held on Wednesday that the cases of infection have increased due to the people of Tablighi Jamaat going to different parts of the country. Meanwhile, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, “The Tablighi Jamaat had committed a Taliban crime. It cannot be forgiven for any type of criminal activity. The Jamaat has endangered many lives. Stringent action should be taken against such organizations and people. It may have been done intentionally and it is unfortunate.”
Railways looking for passengers who may have come in contact with the deposits
The railways have started to locate the passengers of the five trains in which the Jamaatians travelled from Delhi to their home states. All these trains left Delhi from March 13 to 19. These include the Duronto Express to Andhra Pradesh, the Grand Trunk Express to Chennai and the Tamil Nadu Express. Apart from this, there are also New Delhi-Ranchi Rajdhani Express and AP Sampark Kranti Express. There are concerns that thousands of passengers in these trains may have come in contact with these deposits. Railways are making the list of passengers of these trains.
