The democrat came down heavily on Trump for calling India “filthy” when the two leaders had a final face-off at the last presidential debate.
“President Trump called India “filthy.” It’s not how you talk about friends-and it’s not how you solve global challenges like climate change,” Biden wrote on Twitter, referring to his running mate Kamala Harris.
“@KamalaHarris and I deeply value our partnership-and will put respect back at the center of our foreign policy,” Biden said.

Earlier on Friday, Trump called India and its air âfilthyâ. When questioned on Climate Change, he reiterated that the action on the global issue was unfair to the United States. He said, âLook at China, how filthy it is. Look at Russia, look at India â itâs filthy. The air is filthy.â
Biden, on the other hand, warned that we are going to pass the âpoint of no returnâ in next 10 years. He said that Climate change is an existential threat to humanity. âWe have a moral obligation to deal with it, â Biden said.
