New Delhi: On the Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s allegations, of Instagram account of her children being hacked, the Union Electronics And Information Technology Ministry has taken cognisance in the matter. Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, the country’s top cybersecurity agency, is likely to investigate the matter.
“The ministry has asked Instagram to investigate the allegations,” an official said on the condition of anonymity.
Yesterday at Uttar Pradesh before Assembly Elections, Priyanka Gandhi slammed the Centre. She said that the government is tapping Instagram account of her children. Slamming the government she questions ‘don’t you have any work?’
Let us tell you that the matter of phone tapping is hot in UP at this time. Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav had claimed that the UP government taps his phones and CM Yogi listens to his phone conversations.
Akhilesh Yadav, alleging phone tapping, had said, ‘All our phone calls are being heard. All the phones of the SP office are tapped. CM himself is listening to some recordings in the evening. If you (journalists) contact us, then understand that you are also being heard. Think how useless this government is.
Earlier, targeting the government, Priyanka Gandhi had said on Sunday that what is the government’s work? To develop, to solve the problems of the people. Stop the tyrants. But the government is busy tapping the phones of the opposition instead.
Priyanka Gandhi also took a jibe at PM Modi’s program today. PM attended the women’s empowerment conference in Prayagaj today. On this, Priyanka said that because ‘I am a girl, I can fight’, today the Prime Minister has to work for women. Priyanka said that women have woken up, the PM has bowed before the power of this country. This is the victory of the women of Uttar Pradesh, which makes me very happy.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Sunday said the Uttar Pradesh government should focus on its work rather than listening to people’s phone calls.
She was responding to a question on the phone-tapping allegations leveled by SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.
Akhilesh had said that the phones of people associated with SP, along with his own, were being tapped.
