Pakistan violated ceasefire for more than 2000 times: MEA

The Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that so far this year Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement 2,050 times without provocation.

 

New Delhi| Pakistan is not going to desist from its antics, the Pakistani army violates the ceasefire in a fit of rage. This year, more than 2000 incidents of Line of Control violations have been reported from Pakistan.

The Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that so far this year Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement 2,050 times without provocation. 21 Indians have died due to ceasefire violations. Foreign Ministry spokesman Raveesh Kumar informed about this. “We have expressed our concerns to Pakistan on cross-border infiltration, including ceasefire violations and targeting Indian nationals and forward posts without provocation,” he said.

“This year they violated the ceasefire 2,050 times without provocation in which 21 Indian people have died,” he said. India has consistently told Pakistan to send its security forces along the Line of Control and follow the ceasefire agreement made in 2003.
