Parliament’s Winter Session announced to be held from November 18 to December 13

The government is working on a plan to legislate two important ordinances with the introduction of several bills in the upcoming Winter Session.

 

New Delhi| The dates for the winter session of Parliament have been announced. According to the information received, the winter session of Parliament will run from November 18 to December 13.
The government has informed the secretariats of both the houses. During this session, the government will try to pass several important bills while the opposition will try to surround the government on issues related to the economic slowdown, topics related to Jammu and Kashmir.

The government is working on a plan to legislate two important ordinances with the introduction of several bills in the coming session. One of these ordinances was issued in September to amend the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the Finance Act, 2019. The second ordinance was also promulgated in September, which deals with the ban on the sale, manufacture and storage of e-cigarettes and similar devices.
