“People’s Trust In PM Modi Will Help Us & Allies In Bihar”: Devendra Fadnavis

Bihar BJP poll in-charge Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that people”s trust on Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not only benefit his party but also its allies.

Amid the ongoing campaign in Bihar in a lead up to the Bihar Assembly Elections, Bihar BJP poll in-charge and former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that people”s trust on Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not only benefit his party but also its allies.

“A lot of enthusiasm is seen among people, wherever we go in Bihar and take Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name. The country and its people have placed their trust in PM Modi. This trust will benefit not only us but also our allies,” Mr Fadnavis told reporters today, NDTV reported.

The BJP and JDU will contest 121-122 seats respectively in the upcoming Bihar polls for 243-member assembly. The JDU, having 122 sats to contest, has accommodated seats to Hindustani Awaam Morcha of Jitin Ram Manjhi from its quota.

The Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) was formally inducted in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) by the BJP this week. BJP assigned 11 seats as part of seat distribution among allies for the Bihar polls.

Bihar polls will be held in three phases- October 28, November 3, and 7. the counting for the votes will be held on 10 November.
