PM Modi Receives Second Dose of Covid-19 Vaccine, Asks Those Eligible To Get The Shot Soon

Sister Neha Sharma from Punjab and Sister P Nivedita from Puducherry administered the second dose of vaccine to PM Modi.

 

New Delhi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took the second dose of the Coronavirus vaccine. On Thursday morning, he received the second dose of Covaxin in AIIMS New Delhi. He received the first dose on March 1. While sharing the photo on social media, he also appealed to others to get inoculated. He wrote, “Got my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS today. Vaccination is among the few ways we have, to defeat the virus. If you are eligible for the vaccine, get your shot soon. Register on CoWin.gov.in.”

Sister Neha Sharma from Punjab and Sister P Nivedita from Puducherry administered the second dose of vaccine to PM Modi. Talking about the experience, Neha said, “Prime Minister talked to us. It was a memorable moment for me. I got a chance to talk to him and administer the vaccine.

Sister Nivedita said, “I gave the first dose of Covaxin to the Prime Minister. Today I got a chance to meet him again and administer the vaccine. I am very happy. He talked to us and we also took pictures with him.”

The Prime Minister will take stock of the Coronavirus situation

Prime Minister Modi will hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states through video conferencing today amid increasing cases of coronavirus in the country. The Prime Minister will take stock of the situation around the country in this meeting. Earlier on Tuesday, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan also held a meeting with Chief Ministers and Health Ministers of 11 states regarding the current situation and vaccination.
