PM Modi visit Atal Bihari Vajpayee at AIIMS

New Delhi | Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid a visit to former PM and veteran BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee at AIIMS after laying the foundation stone of National Centre for Aging at AIIMS Delhi.

During the event at AIIMS, the PM Modi inaugurated a 555-bed Super Speciality Block in Safdarjung Hospital. The Prime Minister said that the National Centre for Aging will be built at a cost of Rs 300 crore. He also dedicated a 300-bed Power Grid Vishram Sadan in AIIMS and a ‘connection motorable tunnel’ between AIIMS, Ansari Nagar and the Trauma Centre.

Meanwhile, former PM Vajpayee is undergoing treatment for urinary tract infection after been admitted with a kidney tract infection, chest congestion and urine output on the lower side on July 11. According to medical reports, his health condition is now stable.
