Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray attended Shiv Sena’s annual Dussehra rally on Sunday. During his address, Uddhav Thackeray spoke on Bihar elections and BJP’s promises. Uddhav said that BJP is talking about giving free vaccine in Bihar. Is the rest of the country Bangladesh and Pakistan? Uddhav said that those who make such statements should be ashamed of themselves.
Uddhav challenges BJP on the occasion of Dussehra
Uddhav Thackeray also launched an all-out attack on the BJP. Challenging the BJP, he said, “It has been a year since I became the Chief Minister. From the day I became the Chief Minister, it was being said that the Government of Maharashtra would fall. I challenge those people to do it and show it if you have the strength.”
He said- “We were being questioned about Hindutva. It was being asked why temples in Maharashtra are not being reopened. Those people were saying that my Hindutva is different from Balasaheb Thackeray’s Hindutva. I say that your Hinduism is only restricted to banging thalis and changing names, our Hindutva is not like this. Those who are questioning our Hindutva were sitting on the tail, when the Babri Masjid was demolished.”
Prime Minister should implement old tax system: Uddhav
The CM of Maharashtra said, “GST has failed. Prime Minister should accept this and implement the old tax system.” He said that Centre is yet to pay Maharashtra its due which runs into more than 30000 crores.
Speaking on the controversy surrounding the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in which his son Aaditya Thackeray’s name popped up too, Uddhav said that those who are seeking justice for the son of Bihar, are trying to defy the character of Maharashtra’s son (Aditya Thackeray).
Sanjay Raut said state govt will continue till 25 years
ShivSena spokesman Sanjay Raut was also present at the rally. Raut expressed confidence that Maharashtra government will complete 5 years. “The government will continue for the next 25 years. From now on everything will be ‘Maha’ (grand)-Maha Aghadi, Maharashtra. Don’t be shocked if this ‘Maha’ reaches Delhi. Last year I said that this year Maharashtra will see a ShivSena Chief Minister and see, it is done.”
