President Kovind to visit Greece, Suriname and Cuba on a 9-day tour

New Delhi | President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday will depart for a 3 nation tour to Greece, Suriname, and Cuba. On a Nine-day tour, he will be accompanied by Members of Parliament and Minister of State for Steel Vishnu Deo Sai.

President Kovind will first visit Athens where he will meet Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and other senior members of the Government.

After Athens, President Kovind is scheduled to visit Suriname on Tuesday where he will meet and hold discussions with President Desire Delano Bouterse. He will also be holding official level talks in the country. Both the countries will sign a number of agreements and MoUs in the areas of health and medicine, elections, IT and Ayurveda.

Finally, President Kovind will arrive in Cuba on June 21, where he is scheduled to hold discussions with Cuban President Miguel Diaz – Canel Bermudez. MoUs and Agreements in the areas of Biotechnology, Homeopathy and traditional system of medicine and medicinal plants will be signed during the visit.
