“Production Of Liquid O2 Has Increased 10 Times”: PM Modi On Mann Ki Baat

Commemorating his government’s 7 years in office and the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas’, he said that the country doesn’t function under the pressure of other countries and ‘runs on its own resolution’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 77th edition of his monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat, on Sunday said that the production of liquid oxygen has increased 10 times and hailed ‘Team India’s’ collective effort in fighting all the challenges it faced.

This edition comes as his government completed 7 years in office.

“The production of liquid oxygen has increased by 10 times. Our corona warriors are delivering them to every corner of the country. When the pandemic started, there were few tests everyday, but now there are around 20 lakh tests being conducted every day” PM Modi said.

He also said that country not only fought against the biggest pandemic in the last hundred years, but also braved natural disasters, including Cyclone Tauktae on the Western Coast and Cyclone Yaas on the Eastern Coast during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“In this difficult and extraordinary situation of calamity, the way the people of all the states affected by the cyclone have shown courage, in this hour of crisis, with great patience, discipline – I respectfully, heartily want to appreciate all citizens” he said.

“Today, on the day of Mann Ki Baat, also marks seven years of our government. Over the years, the country has run on the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’. We all have worked in the service of the country with a dedicated spirit” PM Modi said.

He added, “We are all proud when we see that India does not function according to the thinking, or under the pressure, of other countries. The country runs on its own resolution. When India does not compromise on issues of national security, when the strength of our forces increases, we feel that we are on the right track.”

The Prime Minister also said “In these seven years, the success has been that of the country. We have celebrated achievements together with the country. When we see India giving befitting reply to conspiracies from other nations, the confidence of the countrymen increase”
