Releasing the audio clip-allegedly a call recording of Goa Minister Vishwajit Rane- Congress questioned whether Manohar Parrikar has “All the files related to Rafale Deal in his bedroom”.
Panaji| Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane hit back at Congress saying the audio clip released by the party was doctored. His denial comes moments after Congress released an audio clip of a call recording supposedly between a “Mr X” and Goa BJP MLA Vishwajit Rane. The Congress alleged that all the files related to Rafale Deal are in the bedroom of Goa CM Manohar Parrikar.
Addressing a press conference, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala released an audio clip of Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Pratapsingh Rane claiming Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has “All the files related to Rafale Deal in his bedroom”. The Congress Party has also released a transcript of the audio clip conversation of the Goa Minister.
Goa Min Vishwajit P Rane: The audio tape is doctored. Congress has stooped to such a low level to doctor a tape to create miscommunication b/w cabinet&CM. Mr Parrikar has never made any reference to Rafale or any documents. Have asked him for a criminal investigation into this. pic.twitter.com/pEA6L1SiTx

However, Rane has refuted the claim saying that Congress is trying to create a rift between his and Manohar Parrikar. “Congress has stooped to such a low level to doctor a tape to create miscommunication between cabinet & Chief Minister Mr Parrikar has never made any reference to Rafale or any documents,” Rane claimed in a Press Conference. He further added that he has reached out to the Goa CM to clarify the misunderstanding and has asked for a criminal investigation into it.
